Lessons And Life Skills That Go Way Beyond Just Sports

"I am so appreciative of what Youth Athletes and the IDLife family have done for making a dream come true all for our family. We leave Wednesday evening for St Jude's.  We are ready to face this head on and have faith things will work out. We send all our love, and thank everyone for all the help, love, and support.  The amount of gratitude we have for Logan Stout, his wife Haley, and ‪#‎IDLife for what they have done for our families, and now what they are doing for Matthew Christi West family as they go through their journey with Caleb cannot be put into words."

(Caleb West is currently going through treatment for a rare brain tumor.  Please follow the link below to follow his journey and see updates.  Youth Athletes is helping with much of Caleb's medical expenses and we truly appreciate Troy Aikman giving the family a signed football helmet as a token of sympathy, as they are huge fans.)

My son played select baseball for 12 years.  We were fortunate and could afford to play.  It is not affordable to everyone who wants to play.  One of the kids my son played with would never have gotten to play select if it weren't for the scholarship program. This player is going on to play at a D1 college and is a MLB prospect. I love that this program is available to families whose kids wouldn't be able to play select otherwise.

How do I put into words what Youth Athletes Foundation has meant to our family?  We have two boys that both play baseball.  Our oldest has played since he was 12 and will graduate this year.  Because of the help from the foundation he has been able to accomplish and experience many things that we would not have been able to have him do without that help.  Youth Athletes has provided both our boys with some amazing coaches, teammates, great instruction and tons of memories and it has meant more than just being on a select team for our boys it's meant being apart of something bigger than themselves and has taught them so much about how to be men and handle whatever comes at them in life.  We can't express enough how thankful we are to be able to have the financial help for our boys to be able to play ball.  We are proud to say that Taylor has played and will graduate from the organization plus he has been recruited to continue to play baseball in college at East Texas Baptist University.  Now we look to the future with our younger son and hope for the same chances and opportunities for him through the foundation.  So I say again, how do I put into words what Youth Athletes Foundation means to our family.... I guess the words are Priceless Gift.

For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you

     hope and a future.   -    Jeremiah 29:11

As parents of a select baseball player, as well as house parents for a half dozen others, we have experienced first hand how being part of a well organized team with a distinct Christian perspective can shape the life and character of young athletes.

There are many worthy causes we gladly support, but few have the potential for making such a direct and positive impact on the next generation as Youth Athletes Foundation.
