Youth Athletes Foundation believes it our job to "reach in and reach out", teaching young players there is more to life than sports, and we are all called to serve a purpose greater than our own by helping those in the community that are less fortunate. Throughout the year we have community projects in place where players volunteer their time, thereby understanding the importance of servant leadership. We know that donating even a small amount of time can make a big difference to those in need. In fact, the benefits are twofold. Youth who volunteer are more likely to do well in school, graduate and vote, as well as expanding their social circle and enhancing social awareness. The community gains a generation of young people who care about where they live and are willing to make a commitment to improvement.
